Baptism

Baptism is an essential part of a person’s faith journey, and is the powerful connection of water with God’s Word that blesses us with God’s grace and forgiveness. Are you or your child ready to be baptized? Or would you like to renew your baptism?

Frequently Asked

What is Baptism?
Baptism is the powerful connection of water with God’s Word that blesses us with God’s grace and forgiveness. When we are baptized in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit we receive a new identity, becoming children of God. Being baptized with water indicates that we should, by daily repentance, drown the old sinful nature within us so that we can rise up and walk in the newness of life. (Key passages: Matthew 28:19; Titus 3:5-8; Romans 6:4) Learn more about baptism by watching our series Baptized. You can also find more about our theology in this document.
How Can I Be Baptized?

What If I Want to Renew My Baptism?
We are 100% behind you if you wish to renew your baptism. We don’t call it a “re-baptism” since we believe that baptism is a one-time event and that God works powerfully in that baptism. If you wish to renew and celebrate what God did in your baptism, you are more than welcome to let us know you’re interested.
